The Mindful Librarian: Jennifer Bleicher…
I believe that our purpose on this planet is to achieve peace and serenity by evolving to our highest selves. By living life while consciously employing mindfulness techniques, one can shed the weight of things past, release the burden of anxiety caused by fear of what’s to come, and attain peace and serenity.
My mission is to continue to learn and evolve as well as to share strategies that have helped me on my path through study and practice. My melding of the following practices provides heightened awareness, presence, and connection:
- Mindful Meditation and Living Practices
- Hatha Yoga
- Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy and Forest Bathing
- Literary Analysis (Specifically of texts by enlightened seekers from a variety of backgrounds and specializations)
The purpose of this blog is to reach out to like-minded seekers who, like me, believe that the journey is more important than the destination and that each day is a marvelous gift to be mindfully savored.
